Environmental protection represents an integral aspect of corporate social responsibility. The Business Leaders Forum, as a coalition of leading companies in the field of corporate social responsibility in Serbia, feels obliged to ensure that members’ efforts and experiences serve to encourage other business sector operators to take action aimed at combating climate change.

That is why we launched the “5 to 12” Initiative: the business sector is in a unique position to combine its knowledge and resources in order to initiate various programmes; to act as an example to other stakeholders and contribute to the necessary turnaround in the approach to the nature and resources, in order to prevent the catastrophic consequences of climate change that have already started to confront us. It is our contention that everybody must exert efforts within their own field of business in order to find ways of reducing negative environmental impacts.
